11月. 22, a 澳门太阳城游戏 engineering graduate was on site at the Kennedy Space Center to witness the launch of a lifetime. 澳门太阳城游戏 is at the forefront of modern 空间 research 和 澳门太阳城游戏 alumnus Alex和er Doknjas was joined in Florida by others on the 澳门太阳城游戏 satellite team, as well as virtually by those gathered here on campus.

Built by a diverse team of engineering students 和 scientists led by 加拿大 研究 Chair 和 澳门太阳城游戏 aero空间 systems engineer 阿夫扎尔Suleman, the miniature satellite once on its way will rendezvous with the 国际 Space Station (ISS) then be deployed to collect data through 2023.

The 澳门太阳城游戏 satellite won a national competition as part of the Canadian CubeSat Project (CCP) by the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) 和, 结果是, is one of the first two universities from 加拿大 to launch satellites with the 美国国家航空航天局 missions.

2022年6月,CSA 主持 our ORCASat team along with the second CubeSat team—LORIS from Dalhousie 大学—to participate in the integration of their nanosatellites into the module that’s now poised to be launched from the ISS once the 美国国家航空航天局 mission blasts off.
